The Japanese Banpresto Terebi Denwa run never came from a Carddass vending machine. Cards were dispensed by the Terebi Denwa (TV Phone) arcade cabinet, a visiophone unit that let kids "call" Goku and play mini-games, spitting out a prism card as the prize. Part 1 landed in 1991 and Part 2 in 1992, 36 cards each, and unusually every single card is prism foil - no plain commons. The early numbers cover young Goku through the original Dragon Ball arcs, and the line later grew to a Part 3 and mini-sets. Our checklist combines Parts 1 and 2 at 72 cards. Glittery, game-center-only, and scarcer than the mass-vended Carddass of the era.
- 1Dispensed by the Terebi Denwa (TV Phone) arcade cabinet in Japanese game centers, not a Carddass vending machine.
- 2Every card in both parts is prism foil - no non-prism commons.
- 3Part 1 and Part 2 each run 1-36; catalog merges them to 72.
- 4Made in Japan / Banpresto markings on the reverse.
All cards are prism foil, so surface scuffs and print lines through the holo are the usual graders; reflective stock shows handling easily, and the thin stock tends toward edge wear and soft corners.
